Dear Valued Patrons, Community, and employees,
I hope that all of you are staying well and practicing responsible social distancing. As this Covoid19 situation unfolds, we have seen the best in people, and yes, unfortunately in certain instances the worst. This has been a trying time for all of us, and our heart goes out to the community as a whole as we work our way through these difficult times. We continue to err on the side of caution as we try and figure out what the responsible best approach is to opening for the 2020 season. We do not judge other business on their individual decisions in this regard. It's a tough one either way, as we try to serve the community in which we live, our guests, our employees, and our families. We have therefor decided to push our decision to May 1. This decision was not made in a vacuum, nor was it out of abundant fear. The business owner is much like the head of many families. We have listened to experts, varying opinions, but then it is up to each of us individually to make the tough calls that we think best for all from both a community and global perspective. I did have the opportunity to speak with a few doctor clients who have gained a lot of perspective from their counterparts in Philadelphia and New Orleans and recently received this input from one of my close friends in that medical community:
